Q. Six and half year old AKC registered German Shepherd that did get out of a fenced in yard was shot and killed by neighbor with a deer rifle. He claimed it was a threat to his family even though the dog was a wimp and friendly with most people. The dog was not killed on his property but in the backyard of the next neighbor. The shooter called the sheriffs office and a deputy did come out and make a report. Should I go to civil court and seek damages?
